RAYS THROUGH ART GLASS
WELCOME!
Welcome to Ray's website. You will find a variety of glass images depicted in the pages that follow. They may be functional pieces like bowls, plates, platters and vases. They may be art pieces that one would place on a display stand or hang on a wall. Or they may be whimsical sun catchers or mosaic stepping stones that can be placed in your garden.
From an early age, Ray showed ability and interest in the arts, first as a painter, and later (these past 28 years) in glass art. Ray has been influenced by many classic and contemporary artists, and the styles of art depicted in his creations show a willingness to create images that may be graphic, abstract or realistic, depending on what creative juices are flowing at that point in time.
Ray's art mission is to not only create art, but to do so with bright colors and exquisite/detailed images and textures. His talent offers a real pleasure to the visitor's eyes, and an enhancement for those who enjoy glass art's countless variety and effects. Ray is constantly looking for new ideas, and his creative skills are endless as he finds inspiration everywhere.
All pieces are "One of a Kind", non production, and contain his etched/scribed insignia on the back of each art piece. This being said, any glass project you see as "sold" on the various tabs can be made again as a custom order and by employing your choices of color, texture, or design modification.
